Transfer options
Cash ISAs can be invested into the following KRBS accounts:-
Direct cash ISA - fixed rate to 30 September 2014
- Subject to availability
Direct cash ISA - fixed rate to 30 April 2014
- Subject to availability
Direct cash ISA - fixed rate to 31 January 2013
- Subject to availability
Direct cash ISA - fixed rate to 31 December 2011
- Subject to availability
Direct nine month fixed rate cash ISA
- Subject to availability
Direct one year fixed rate cash ISA
- Subject to availability
Direct variable rate cash ISA
Direct variable rate cash ISA - Under 25s (must be
aged 16-24)
Direct 65+ variable rate cash ISA (must be aged 65
or over)
These are statement based accounts, which can only
be opened and operated by post through our Head Office.
Variable rate cash ISA - Under 25s (must be aged
16-24)
Variable rate cash ISA
These are passbook-based accounts which can only be opened and operated through the branch and agency network.


To transfer in ISA funds from other providers

To transfer ISA funds from another provider into your existing KRBS ISA simply complete the transfer form below:

To open a new type of KRBS ISA and to transfer ISA funds from another provider into the new ISA - select and complete the relevant information pack below.

Note: If you wish to transfer from more than one provider you will need to complete a transfer form for each one. Please note some providers may charge you a fee for transferring to Kent Reliance. You should check this before completing any transfer forms.

If you wish to transfer ISA funds to a passbook-based ISA simply pop in to one of our branches or agencies for the relevant forms. For a list of their
locations click here

Once we have received your completed form(s) we will send you confirmation. We will then contact your current provider(s) to request the funds on your behalf.

Your current provider(s) will send the funds directly to us by cheque (this can take up to 30 days).

We will then contact you again to confirm we have received the funds and send you the appropriate documentation.

Note: The time required to fully effect your transfer to KRBS will be determined by your current provider. KRBS accepts no responsibility for delays in transferring your ISA to a KRBS product. Interest will be earned from the date we receive your funds from your current provider.

Existing members who wish to switch/make a partial transfer from an existing KRBS cash ISA

Simply complete the relevant application form from the information packs (select from the list above).

To transfer out ISA funds to another provider

To transfer a KRBS ISA to another provider, without losing its tax status, you will need to complete the other provider’s application form and transfer form and return these to them. Your new ISA provider will then send the transfer form to us to initiate the transfer of your ISA.

Please note: If you have a passbook ISA, we are unable to commence processing your transfer until we have received your passbook.

Once we have received your transfer instructions from your new provider, we may contact you by telephone or in writing to confirm your request to transfer and make you aware of our current range of ISA products.

Important: An ISA transfer can take up to 30 days from the date we receive all the necessary information. This includes receipt of the transfer request from your new ISA provider, receipt of your passbook (if applicable) and any other information we may need to complete the transfer.

The Society accepts no responsibility for delays in processing your transfer if they are caused by your new provider or you not providing the necessary information.
